Supporting Our Community: Mossley Juniors Count on Mitchell Charlesworth Again

Mossley Juniors

Mitchell Charlesworth are proud to be sponsoring Mossley Junior Football Club for the fifth season running.

We have been the official kit sponsor for one of Mossley Junior FC's teams since the start of the 2007/08 season and this season the firm is sponsoring the Under 13 team kit.

Recently, Mossley Juniors were awarded FA Charter Standard Club status and are the Manchester FA Community Awards 2011 Charter Standard Club of the year.

Paul Palmer, an associate and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in Mitchell Charlesworth's corporate recovery and insolvency team, whose stepson, Nicholas Goodwin, plays for the club, said: "Mitchell Charlesworth maintains its commitment to putting something back into the local community and we had no hesitation in continuing our support for Mossley Juniors FC."

The potential links with Mossley AFC, The Lilly Whites, via the Under 17's squad, should provide additional support to raise funds and give local children the possibility to play for a local club at semi-professional level.

Mossley Juniors is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who train and manage several boys teams from Under 7's to Under 17's, which play in the Tameside & District Junior Football League and the East Manchester Junior Football League. They are also developing a girls team and hope to be entered into a League in the near future.

Paul Booth, audit partner at Mitchell Charlesworth, who also lives in the local area, added "The club is run by volunteers who strive to advance the ability of all the people concerned with the club, from the players and right through to the coaches and even the chairman. Everyone involved with the club does a fantastic job with the youngsters and we wanted to do our bit to help support them."

We wish Mossley Juniors the best of luck for the coming season.
