Mitchell Charlesworth raise over £1600 at annual Corporate Quiz

Mitchell Charlesworth hosted their annual quiz night at Lunya Restaurant, Liverpool on Thursday 17 October.

Over 90 local professionals battled it out for the much coveted title of Mitchell Charlesworth Quiz Champion of the year, and raised more than £1600 for Mark Swift, partner of Mitchell Charlesworth’s Jenna Hughes.  Mark suffered life changing spinal injuries in a cycling accident in 2012.  More information about Mark and his progress can be found at his blog at

Our congratulations go to:

  • 1st place team: Kaplan A Plus with 64 points
  • 2nd place team: Brabners with 61 points
  • 3rd place team: NastyWesty 2 with 59 points

Teams answered questions from a variety of genres including History, Geography, Sport and Food & Drink (with delicious tasters provided by Lunya). As an example of the challenges the teams faced, we’ve set out a few questions below:

  • The top two wettest places in the world are found in which country, according to the “Rain Appreciation Society”?
  • What is the only element in the periodic table to end in ‘S’?
  • In Formula 1, what does DRS stand for?

We’d also like to thank Shiverpool, LFC, EFC, Lush Spa, Lunya and Bromborough Golf Club for their generosity in donating prizes for the raffle and auction.

Once again, thanks to all who joined us at Lunya.
