Accountants appoint new business development director

NORTH West chartered accountants and business advisors Mitchell Charlesworth has strengthened its business development team after appointing a new director.

Mark Lindsay brings more than 14 years experience of business development to the newly created post.

He will operate across the firm’s five offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, Warrington and Widnes, to help raise Mitchell Charlesworth’s profile, generate new business opportunities and strengthen working relationships with other professional contacts.

Mark said: “Mitchell Charlesworth has a diverse service offering with offices across the region and this is an exciting opportunity to promote these. Due to the economy, demand for our expertise is growing and we have some talented teams which can help businesses get through these challenging times. Mitchell Charlesworth is a strong brand and I am confident I can help develop the operation.”

The 34-year-old joins Mitchell Charlesworth from Bury-based independent factoring firm, Regency Factors plc, where he worked as regional manager. Prior to that he worked as head of business development for the North West external team at RBS Invoice Finance; regional director within the Davenham Group and an assistant manager at NatWest Corporate Banking.
