Neil’s an award-winner

Mitchell Charlesworth’s head of wealth management has won a top accolade at a recent business awards ceremony.

Neil Menear, the firm’s director of pensions and investments, received the Wealth Management Award at Insider Magazine’s Liverpool Professional Awards 2008.

He beat off tough competition from two top national firms after the judges recognised Neil’s ‘creativity’ and that his team also brought business into Liverpool from across the country.

Since joining Mitchell Charlesworth in 1990, Neil has identified and developed a niche area in advising professional sports people at the firm, which today acts for the financial interests of more than 60 sports people nationwide.

Neil said: “It is a great accolade to receive this award, especially after going head-to-head with such high-profile nominees from some of the country’s biggest names in the investment industry.

“This award acknowledges the committed approach the firm has undertaken to focus on growth within this highly specialised area of professional advice. I am also fortunate to have such a committed and dedicated team behind me whose hard work has played a significant part in winning this award.”
