Mitchell Charlesworth receive NCVO approved consultancy status

Date: 15 June 2007

Mitchell Charlesworth has been awarded approved consultants status for its charity services by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NVCO).

The NCVO is a registered charity, founded in 1919, which works for the charity and voluntary sector. As part of its support to members it produces a directory of professionals which possess relevant experience and expertise in the sector and have successfully completed the NCVO approval process.

Philip Griffiths, one of the partners who heads up the Mitchell Charlesworth’s specialist charities team, said: “We had to undergo a thorough application process to meet the stringent criteria, however, it was fairly straightforward for us because we already had systems in place which met the required standards.

“Mitchell Charlesworth has now joined a select group of accountants across the country that are approved consultants for charity services by the NCVO, which can only enhance our reputation in that field.”
