Mitchell Charlesworth strengthens Not for Profit team

Date: 17 January 2008

AN AUDIT specialist has returned to his roots after rejoining the practice where he started his accounting career, 14 years ago.

Howard Priestley joins Mitchell Charlesworth’s as audit director, after spending nine years working for Beever & Struthers in Manchester and London, where he worked in the same role.

The 37-year-old ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) member, who lives in Helsby, specialises in the external audits of registered social landlords, charities and not-for-profit organisations as well as performing due diligence work and business plan validations.

Howard supports the Not for profit sector in his voluntary role as treasurer of the North Liverpool Citizens Advice Bureaux.

Paul Wainwright, partner at Mitchell Charlesworth, said: “Mitchell Charlesworth prides itself on the quality of its staff and it is fantastic to welcome Howard back to the firm. His expertise in audit and one off projects are second to none and his appointment will, no doubt, add a wealth of knowledge to the business assurance department.”
