As Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, there are several ways in which we could help your law firm with the new Legal Services Act 2007 from 6th October.

It is important to note that, whilst the new law could pose increased competition and risk in your workplace, there are also many opportunities for law firms should they use the new legislation to their advantage.

As business advisors, our knowledgeable and experienced legal accounting specialists can help you and your fellow partners to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in relation to internal risk (such as the new Accounts rules requirements) and external competition (Alternative Business Structures) which may arise with the new Legal Services Act.

You can offer much more than a commodity product.

In relation to the new solicitors' Accounts rules, we can offer you a no obligation test visit to ensure that you are complying with the new rules. If it is discovered that you are at risk of failing to comply with the new legislation, we can undertake a detailed SAR audit for you.

As a firm, you may decide to take advantage of the new Alternative Business Structures (ABS) arrangements. We can help you in the application process should you decide to license an ABS.
