Having graduated with a degree in Business and Marketing, Louise worked in the marketing department for an international banking company before joining Mitchell Charlesworth in 2012, gaining her ACA qualification and progressing to Head of Audit. Louise also leads our Social Housing team, and works with a variety of owner managed businesses, large corporate entities, including groups with a range of complex accounts and taxation matters, and has gained particular experience in the not for profit sector including charities and academies. Her direct experience of working in both commercial and not for profit sectors includes audit compliance, year end accounts and advisory services, management accounts, strategy and planning, and systems and controls. Louise supports the Audit Compliance Partner with the management of the audit function across the practice. This includes delivery of audit training, design and implementation of audit procedures and development and monitoring of quality control processes. Louise regularly writes audit updates and hosts webinars for clients as part of Mitchell Charlesworth’s added-value service. In her spare time Louise enjoys spending time with her daughter horse riding on the Wirral coast.
