Phil has over 13 years experience working in practice qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2013 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2016. Phil joined Mitchell Charlesworth in 2018 and his role is primarily to provide tax advice to our portfolio of clients, particularly with regards to Corporation Tax and group restructuring. Phil has a specialism in R&D tax relief and assisted our clients to reclaim significant amounts from the relief. Phil was named on the top 35 under 35 list in the Accounting industry prepared by Accountancy Age. Phil provides tax advice to our clients, ranging from small owner managed companies to large group, with a particular focus on Corporation Tax, Group Restructuring, R&D Tax Relief and M&A transactions. Phil also presents Webinars on the tax changes arising from Budgets and Corporate Tax matters. In his spare time, Phil is a keen golfer, follows Preston North End and spends his time with his 3 young boys.
