Breakfast Seminar: Making Tax Digital Seminar Liverpool
Making Tax Digital ('MTD') for VAT is intended to make the UK tax system more effective and efficient and will bring about major changes to affected businesses.
As part of the changes, businesses that are VAT registered and trading over the VAT registration limit on 1 April 2019 will be required to comply with new digital regulations.
Under the new rules, businesses must keep their VAT records digitally and submit their VAT return to HMRC through MTD compatible software. HMRC have published a list of compatible software providers.
It is vital that all affected businesses are aware of their obligations relating to these changes and what systems need to be put in place and when.
To assist you, Mitchell Charlesworth are hosting a free to attend seminar covering the following:
- What are the Record Keeping Requirements?
- Transaction Data - Each Supply the Business Makes
- Transaction Data - Each Supply the Business Receives
- What information should be held in the VAT Account?
- Special Schemes and Calculations
- Are there any exemptions from Making Tax Digital?
