Sponsored by leading firms in the Merseyside business community, the Merseyside Innovation Awards has sought to honour the most creative business idea, products and services in the region for over 20 years. The Awards aim to recognise and reward the use of innovation as a means of boosting growth and profitability.
Categories:
There are two categories of awards as we seek to recognise Merseyside innovation in both small and large businesses:
- Up to £1 million turnover – the winner of this category will collect a £10,000 cash prize, and the Merseyside Innovation Awards trophy. Runners up in this category will receive £2,500 cash as well as publicity throughout the media in the region.
- £1 million to £25 million turnover – the winner of this category will scoop the new Merseyside Innovation ‘Prestige’ Award
Both award categories are open to applications from companies in the Merseyside area including Liverpool, Halton, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral. The Awards ceremony itself takes place in Liverpool in July, where the finalists will showcase their products and ideas before an audience of entrepreneurs and other leading figures in the business community.
Monthly Winners:
Throughout the application period, monthly winners will also be selected to receive recognition of their innovative development through the media.
