MC Vanguard’s Jerry Scriven has been invited to join VOOM from Virgin Media Business’ semi-final judging panel by event partner ICAEW.
Corporate finance partner Jerry will be judging the top 40 entrants from each category who have received the most votes at a live semi-final on Monday 21 May in Manchester.
Semi-finalists will have 2 minutes to pitch, then 4 minutes to answer questions from the judging panel before facing ‘The Grill’, where three experts will quiz them on their idea and consider their finance planning, marketing, leadership and business acumen.
Only 6 entrants will get through to the final and the chance to win a share of more than £1m in prizes.
At the semi-final the entrants will also have the opportunity to network with other pitchers and to get 1:1 mentoring and business advice from Mitchell Charlesworth partner, Alison Buckley, and manager, Jamielee Johnston.
