Paul Wainwright, managing partner of Mitchell Charlesworth, is planning to run and cycle 200 miles over four days in aid of the 1st Great Sutton Scout Group in Cheshire.
Paul, who lives in Little Sutton and is the ex-chair of the scout group, intends to run 15 miles and cycle 35 miles per day, for four consecutive days, from Chester Racecourse to the Millennium Dome:
His itinerary involves:
- Day 1 (27.06.19) = Chester Racecourse – Ironbridge, Shropshire
- Day 2 (28.06.19) = Ironbridge – Coventry
- Day 3 (29.06.19) = Coventry to Leighton Buzzard
- Day 4 (30.06.19) = Leighton Buzzard to Millennium Dome, Greenwich, London
He will be joined by family, friends and colleagues who will be supporting him at various stages of the challenge.
Commenting on his ambitious challenge, Paul said: “This will be a major challenge for a 62 year old, and I just hope that I have enough volunteers to run and cycle with me each day! With the new Scouts HQ now looking possible, this will need to be ‘kitted out’, and I hope to raise funds from sponsorship to help with the project.”
