North West accountancy firm Mitchell Charlesworth has made a series of promotions
Ramon McKenna has been promoted to a partner and will now be based at our Widnes office. Ramon has over 20 years of experience and has worked his way up at Mitchell Charlesworth, joining us at our Liverpool office as a manager in 2016 and then progressing to an associate and now partner. A part of his role Ramon looks after a wide range of clients, gaining an extensive knowledge of small and medium size companies including group accounts and specialising in Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.
John Davies who is based in Widnes has been promoted to a partner. John has over 20 years of experience and has worked his way up at Mitchell Charlesworth, joining us as an audit and accounts manager in our Widnes office in 2019 and has now progressed to partner. As part of his role John manages a varied portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders and partnerships to small and medium sized enterprises. He also has specialist knowledge of auditing, accounting, and taxation procedures and provides cloud software support and training.
Amy Dolan who is based at Widnes has been promoted to a partner. Amy has over 11 years’ experience and has worked her way up at Mitchell Charlesworth, studying the AAT and ACA qualifications and then later being promoted to manager within the audit and accounts department and now partner. A part of Amy’s role is helping businesses at every stage of the process, from inception to well established businesses and each stage in between. She specialises in owner management businesses, across a wide range of business sections, and assists businesses with cloud software and digitalisation support and MTD requirements across the taxes.
Elsewhere in the firm Georgina Smith (Widnes), Emily Douglas (Widnes) and Emily Dunne (Widnes) have all been promoted to the role of assistant manager.
Georgina Smith joined Mitchell Charlesworth in 2013, has completed her AAT qualifications and is part qualified ACCA. She now manages a mixed portfolio of businesses across a wide range of sectors. She also delivers cloud accounting software support and training.
Emily Douglas joined the practice in 2019 after completing a Maths degree at University of Liverpool. She is currently studying towards her ACA qualification. Emily provides business support, audit, and accounts services to a mixed portfolio of businesses across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing and logistics.
Emily Dunne joined Mitchell Charlesworth in 2014 and completed her AAT qualification in 2017 and is an assistant manager in our Widnes office. Emily assists owner managed businesses in a variety of business sectors, with management accounts, statutory accounts, and advice over the taxes. Emily also assists businesses with cloud accounting software and MTD requirements, providing training and support.
