Mitchell Charlesworth has donated more than £1800 to Ronald McDonald House, Manchester and this week presented a giant cheque to the charity.
The majority of the funds were raised at a quiz night in aid of the charity which was hosted by Mitchell Charlesworth in Manchester city centre. Around 90 business owners and professionals battled it out to take the top spot, raising over £1500 for the charity.
Additional funds were raised by the firm’s partners and employees across all four offices in Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and Widnes. They took part in cake bakes, dress down Fridays, competitive games, and donating prizes for staff raffles which all helped to reach the impressive total.
Ronald McDonald House in Manchester supported Phil Hartley – quizmaster and one of Mitchell Charlesworth’s tax managers – and his family when his son had open heart surgery for tracheomalacia by providing a ‘home away from home’ during what was a very difficult time. Phil and his family will always be grateful for their support and wanted to give something back to the charity.
