We offer:
- Clear eligibility assessments
- Full preparation and submission of claims
- Liaison with HMRC to defend claims if challenged
- Strategic planning to maximise claim value across financial years
Our clients include award-winning cultural venues and performing arts organisations across the country.
Common Questions
Q: What is Creative Industry Tax Relief?
A: It’s a set of corporation tax reliefs offered by the UK Government to encourage investment in British culture, arts and media. If your organisation is a charity or not-for-profit, you may still qualify.
Q: What qualifies for Theatre Tax Relief (TTR)?
A: Most live dramatic and musical productions qualify, including plays, operas, ballets, and even some immersive experiences. Touring shows attract a higher relief rate.
Q: Can museums and galleries still claim MGETR?
A: Yes, the MGETR scheme was due to expire in March 2026. This has now changed and the relief will be available indefinitely.
Q: Is this only for large organisations?
A: Not at all. We help both established institutions and emerging creative groups claim what they’re entitled to. In many cases, smaller productions and exhibitions qualify for significant reliefs.
